In a statement filled with flawed logic (my opinion, not like you can’t reach me) Jerry Jarrett, without prompting, said the entire industry should be looked into, not just the WWE. You can find that statement here. Jarrett did say though that he thinks the biggest decision first made by Congress is whether wrestling is [...]
Meltzer on Fight Network Radio discussing the Benoit Family toxicology report and what it means going forward.
The results are summarized by two trusted wrestling-based reporters.
Lance Storm and Dave Meltzer appeared on ESPN’s investigative hard journalism program, Outside The Lines. Excellent segment, better then almost all that have been on cable TV. I wish the show would do more w/ this story.
Saw this today. This clip pretty much is a summary offense of everything on camera and off I find negative about mainstream national wrestling on TV today.
The following is straight out of WWE’s Wellness Policy regarding steroid testing. 11. DEFINITION OF A POSITIVE TEST 1. A Testosterone/Epitestosterone (T/E) ratio above ten (10) shall be conclusively regarded as a positive test result. 2. A Testosterone/Epitestosterone (T/E) ratio greater than four (4) but less than ten (10) shall require follow-up testing and/or medical [...]
Here are the names of several other patients of Dr. Astin
I thought we could all benefit from a much different perspective than I’m used to seeing online or in print. We have longtime male journalists and editorialists in wrestling, and they do quite well. We do not have an abundance of college educated female wrestling fans who go back over ten to fifteen years in [...]
I never liked Mark Mero, the wrestler. But Mero, the man, is on my short list with Konnan, for guys who every wrestler owes a thank you. Blackmen, well, he would be best served teaching high school gym class.
The old man still spins and entertains, though FOX is wacked out no matter what show they broadcast. If you get ANY news from them, please leave this site NOW! Like Gambling, they are for entertainment purposes only.

This is not a clever nod to the great Mysterio – Juvy feud of the mid-90s. TMZ.com is now reporting what Mark Madden and others had said earlier in the week: They are reporting Rey Mysterio Jr. and Mark Jindrak to be patients of Federally indited Dr. Astin, Benoit’s person doctor. UPDATE: This story has [...]
First off, happy Fourth of July. Here’s some good media for the day, focused on Konnan giving a print interview and Chris Benoit’s mom speaking out.
Inside are the links for the day of relevant info on the Benoit case. I’m going to a picnic and not worrying about anything for the next 24 hours. Have a good holiday
Gret Van Susteran may be the only cable TV host that has done this story justice. Ted DiBiase was backstage at WWE RAW when the news was told to wrestlers of the Benoit Family death. This is what he said about that and the situation on Greta’s show:
Konnan was a guest on Nancy Grace last night (the guest host is only slightly less stupid then Nancy herself) and was a credit to every wrestler who has ever taken a bump. Sure he was more honest because of his options, but he spoke the truth, and was even more honest then Chris Jericho. [...]
It was broken by FOX News Channel, but is now being corroborated by more credible sources, that between May 2006 and May 2007 Dr. Astin was prescribing Chris Benoit 10 months worth of steroids every 3 to four weeks. This also falls in the timeline of the supposed “clean” drug test, which would be “clean” [...]
Things are about to get ugly. Benoit’s doctor, Phil Astin, has been or is about to be charged with drug distribution. He has something in comment w/ Dr. Zahorian and Hacket: They were mark doctors. What could be scary about this is who he might have listed as other clients. Did he meet with other [...]
While this Grace woman is clearly half retarded (My professional opinion, as unlike her I like to clarify things), Jericho does his best to walk her through the interview and make good points. If that’s not enough, Nancy finally learns what Four Horsemen and RAW are, and what demotion Benoit may or may not have [...]
