Best & Worst of TNA Audio
Posted on January 31, 2013 by Rick Finch
Burnside, Corey and I are all back together for the first time since Feb 18, 2009. Plus we have Ush spicing up the proceedings frequently.
Featuring a scathing Bryan & Vinny Show review, the Observer Awards, Ush’s picks for Best Of, Two Classic Clips involving Jeff Hardy, Keneley Bashing, loads of imitations, Best and Worst of 2012 decided, Ask Corey and Burnside, the Best of the Rest (but with no Top 25, it’s really Best of the Best) and much more!
Enjoy!

I know the Song of Silence is the vocals but can’t remember that song from the 90′s.

THanks.

Awesome show guys. It proves again that despite all the great guest co-hosts, no one can beat the original trio.
On a side note, does that dude from Bar Reacue look and sound a lot like Paul Heyman to anyone else too?

Thank you for the new episode, guys.

You’re welcome!
Asker, I haven’t watched enough Bar Rescue to judge. Or recent Raws for that matter.
I will be watching Randy Couture on MMA Rescue though.

You should Finch, it’s enjoyable the same way Kitchen Nightmares is.
I know this question is pretty dated, but what did you think of Brodus Clay on his return last year? I hated it when it happened live, but when I re-watched that segment recently, I found myself liking it a lot. Do you think his character has the ability to be a main-eventer?

I’m not very high on it.
I know it takes all kinds, but he’s not a good enough dancer to pull it off, and he looks too gross.
Don’t see main eventer, as the real demographic they pull still needs at least semi-serious people in that role (Cena, Punk, Ziggler, Sheamus etc).

Great episode, 2012 was a good year for UNR.
Quick question, where did you get the orchestrated video game music towards the end of the show?

Finch, can you please list the themes used in the Best of the Rest?

Never mind, found them. Oh and the only redeemable thing about TNA onscreen now is Joseph Park

He’s pretty great, but only on screen for about 45 seconds per episode. I also really enjoy Bad Influence and the Aries/Roode partnership. More so the latter recently (before the Roode contract problems).

Exactly! Like Burnside mentioned, it seems like BI is really just copying whatever the MCMG did and are now running out of steam slowly. I’m sort of cold on Aries/Roode because I really think that Aries should be the world champ, but that’s just personal bias.
