Cal Burnside joins us to discuss Glory By Honor XI in our latest show. We run down the full card, including the Steen-Elgin main event and several other pleasant surprises. We also discuss the upcoming TV taping and give some general thoughts on the ever-changing state of ROH.

After watching this week’s TV show, I agree that the SOTF match was very good but that the first half felt totally rushed. But hey, at least we got a 10-minute video package on SOTF history.
Dumb Commentary Moment of the Night goes to Nigel. When it was down to Richards, Lethal, and Elgin, Lethal hit a move on Elgin and Nigel speculated that he didn’t go for a pin because he knew Richards would break it up. Not 30 seconds later, they hit back-to-back top rope moves on Elgin, Lethal covered him, and then Richards piled on top of them to help.

Another update: I got home from tonight’s Dragon Gate USA show in storm-recovered South Jersey a little while ago. Alas, El Generico was NOT present at the gimmick tables to answer questions about his potential presence in Final Battle.
In related news, Dragon Gate USA was a boatload of fun tonight, more than ROH Killer Instinct from Rahway. The Super Smash Bros. are scoring big (bonus level) points with me these days; a winner is them.
