A green Bam Bam and old faith Jerry Lawler topped this disk for me. I know I’ll probably get some heat for ranking Bock vs Jarrett second, but I just enjoyed it more than stuff like Lawler vs Hennig or the much celebrated Lawler vs Idol hair/cage battle. Both are gonna get more love from other ballots, and while this isn’t meant to be a protest vote, I’m fine with being one of the few.

Probably the only disappointment of the set was Gilbert vs Lawler no DQ. The fire ball looked great but that was about it. How did this pass for a main event? Everything from six to number one was pretty good, and 7-10 wasn’t miserable to watch either. You do definitely get a sense that the territory was starting to collapse.
