Brian and John were both at The Arena Saturday night and sent results in throughout the show, which consisted of the first three one-hour shows on HDNet.

    Pre-show

1) Bobby Dempsey & Andy Ridge defeated Ernie Osiris & Bobby Shields

2) John Kerman defeated Adam Cole

3) Grizzly Redwood defeated Corey Havoc

HDNet Show #1 (To air 3/21)

There are three cameramen stationed at ringside, two perched hard cameras, and one crane camera.

1) Jerry Lynn defeated Delirious Decent, enjoyable opener with Lynn hitting the Cradle Piledriver for the win.

2) Kenny King defeated Sami Callihan

3) Brent Albright defeated Rhett Titus Titus tapped out to the Crowbar.

4) Tyler Black defeated Jimmy Jacobs Black scored the win in the first main event with a roll-up to counter Jacob’s End Time. Very good TV main event. Brodie Lee attacked Black after the match.

HDNet Show #2 (To air 3/28)

1) Kevin Steen defeated Eddie Edwards Steen opened up the second show by winning with the Package Piledriver.

2) Sara Del Rey defeated Daizee Haze The Royal Butterfly finished off the first women’s match on HDNet.

3) Claudio Castagnoli defeated Alex “Sugarfoot” Payne The match was too long and Payne was sloppy early on, but it was decent by the end. Claudio won with the Ricola Bomb.

4) Nigel McGuinness defeated Jay Briscoe (non-title) The ROH World Champion used the Jawbreaker Lariat to win his TV debut. John called it the match of the night so far, in the ***1/2 range.

There was an intermission between the second and third shows. They had a small set of bleachers up and it was a packed house. John says the crowd has been good, but doesn’t seem as familiar with the product as a typical Philadelphia crowd. He also noted that every match has had a clean finish so far and there hasn’t been any outside interference at all.

HDNet Show #3 (To air 4/4)

1) Erick Stevens defeated Sterling James Keenan Stevens pinned the returning SJK with the Doctor Bomb.

2) The Dark City Fight Club defeated Cheech & Cloudy The DCFC dominated the match and won with a slick powerbomb/neckbreaker combo on Cheech to earn the first tag team win on HDNet.

3) Chris Hero defeated Necro Butcher Hero used a loaded elbow pad.

4) Bryan Danielson defeated Austin Aries Danielson capped off the first set of tapings by defeating Aries with the triangle choke. Another very good main event.

After the taping TV ended, Danielson cut a promo putting over the fans and the company. He then said that it felt like something was missing, at which point The Final Countdown was played as he went around the ring and high-fived the fans with the rest of the babyfaces in the ring. Great way to end the show.

We’ll be back tomorrow with results from the next set of tapings (shows 4-6), and will have more coverage of both tapings next week on BS With Honor.
