We start off Part 2 with a review of ROH’s debut in Montreal, The French Connection, and struggle to comprehend the show title, the announcing, and all the au Francais talk. We also rate the big 4-way battle of champions and the rest of the matches on, naturally, The French Connection Meter. Plus, in a departure from our usual strictly ROH talk, we discuss multiple Golden Globe winner The Wrestler, including ROH’s (and other familiar faces’) place in the film and its potential impact on the business.

With The Wrestler recently premiering on HBO, I decided to record it, and noticed one more notable wrestling cameo I had to include here: Erick Stevens is on one of the posters in the opening title sequence, billed as “Michael Wolfenstein.”
