I really enjoyed the heck out of the Lawler vs Bockwinkel series. The 10/25/82 match was the best, but they were all good for different reasons while keeping storyline elements in each that made a series. There’s a great divide between Studio Lawler matches and “big game” arena matches. In fact, when Dundee teams with another favorite of mine on this set (Dundee) they end up rating with some of the lowest. I have no idea why, but his arena matches smash his studio multi-man matches.
Sweet Brown Sugar and Bobby Eaton were the only other big thing to come off this disk. Just an awesome tag team and had matches ranked 3 and 4 in this, while being part of the number 8 match as well.
