As Ring of Honor celebrates their sixth anniversary, BS With Honor celebrates its momentous fifth anniversary! In Part 1, we re-cap last weekend’s shows in Long Island and Manhattan, including Mother Nature wreaking havoc on the Friday show, and Larry Sweeney’s poor taste wreaking havoc on the company on general. We also run down other news in the world of ROH and beyond. Enjoy!
Part 1 (51 minutes) (Right-click to download)
In Part 2, we review Survival of the Fittest 2007 and try to surmise whether Chris is awesome, or just another lucky man in Vegas. We’ll be rating each good, bad, and ugly match on the Wild West Meter.

A few odds and ends…
- One of the things we forgot to talk about (and I even referenced it earlier in the show and said we would) was Jimmy Jacobs’ promo from the AOTF site. Fantastic stuff.
- Something that didn’t occur to me until I listened to the show was a possible planned (and now maybe back on since apparently the angle won’t be cut) outcome of the Sweeney-Danger incident - Danger & Dempsey: new World Intergender Tag Team Champions!

Concerning Steve’s first point: D’oh! for not mentioning it, but Yay! for the promo itself. Not just another great promo by Jacobs (one of his best in maybe a year actually), but also some welcome explanations to hammer home the AOTF’s ideas/motives. A credibility booster angle-wise (they’ve already been built as a threat in the ring) and it even plants the group fairly strong in tweener territory.

You can color my face red with yer Crayolas, but yes, that promo by Jacobs was great. Not only one of his best in a year to reaffirm his fantastic promo skills, but also a handful of welcome explanations for the AOTF’s ideas/motives. Definitely a credibility booster angle-wise (they’ve already been built strong in the ring), as well as something that very firmly places them in tweener territory for some people.
