TNA is signing up ex-football players, and failed WWE wellness policy castoffs. So why not it down and see how this translates to the show this week

- We start in the back with Christian and his gang being told by Jim Cornette that there will be a ladder match involving Christian and Styles vs Sting and Abyss. They then see Kurt Angle coming to the buliding with his wife and kid. Styles cracks I thought Angle’s wife would be older- she only looked 5.

- Team 3D versus Chris Harris and Eric Young starts us off.

This is definitely an odd pairing. Team 3D are wrestling as heels throughout and the crowd is actually for once responding the way they are supposed to. They eventually work over Young and just before he can get the hot tag Dustin Rhodes attacks Harris.

Heel miscommunication leads to a 2 count for Young. The double tema overwhelms him though and he gets with the 3D for the 3 count.

After the match Robert Roode comes up as we go to break.

- We are back and Young has been beaten up by Roode and he gets tarred and feathered in the middle of the ring. Is this the 1970′?

- Joe interview and he says he will go through the entire Angle family- Awesome.

- Angle in being interviewed and browbeats his wife and kid.

- Triple X is out and they are in a tag match against “Black Machismo” Jay Lehal and “The Guru” Sonjay Dutt, who has apparently found inner peace- good for him.

High energy tag match between these 4 guys. The Motor City Machine Guns come out to scout the match and mock the two teams.

Sonjay Dutt goes to the top rope but Skipper trips him up which leads to him getting hit with the STO.

Senshi then hits the Warrior’s Way off the top rope followed by the Best Moonsault Ever for the 3 count. Really good short match.

- Interview with Sting and Abyss. Abyss kind of sounds like the Alien from the Ridley Scott movie.

- Angle has his wife sit down with Dr. Nash. Apparently she was checking out his package. Then he calls her a slut, and a circus clown.

Nash then tries to hit on her and she blows him off.

- Ladder match main event time. Abyss is fine after last week’s attack by the way.

We get some short in-ing work before heading to the break.

Back from the break and Sting gets held up as he tries to climb the ladder. Abyss chokeslams Christian off the ladder and then Tomko comes running down to the ring and hits Abyss with a chair.

That brings out Andrew Martin (Test) and he helps out Sting and Abyss. Test looks like he is glad to be away from the wellness policy. Abyss climbs the ladder and gets the contract so he can name the match for Hard Justice with Christian.

- Interview with Test, Sting, and Abyss- Test will be now referred to as “The Punisher” Andrew Martin. Cool.

- Angle is out with his family. He tells his wife to talk about who he is as a person.

Joe cuts him off and Kurt pulls Karen in between them. She then says Kurt is a jerk and that she is ending their marriage. Joe then rips off Kurt’s suit and that ends the show,

Not a good episode at all tonight. The whole stuff with Angle will cause problems. It’s not that stuff like this can’t be entertaining in some way but it feels way too soon, and some will realize that.
