TNA is back and I’m back in live time blogging

-We recap last week’s World Title match which really was a great hour of wrestling.

- Mike Tenay sends us to interviews in the back with all 3 tag teams that will be competing in the match to determine who goes to the main event at Victory Road.

Teams are in the ring and here we go. I could swear I hear a “3D sucks” chant. Might be “Team 3D” though. Hard to say. I’m surprised these fans can form sentences.

Quick action to start. Hernandez goes for the Border Toss but Styles blocks it and they go on the offensive. Team 3D comes back in and get a 2 count on Hernandez as we go to break. Hey they made it almost 10 minutes.

- We are back and Team 3D is still on the offensive working over- well I’ll give you one guess. Homicide fires back and Bubba Ray actually takes a bump off the hurracanrana. Homicide then settles into a chinlock as the action slows down a little.

Tag into Hernandez and he covers Bubba but Styles and Daniels break it up. I’m glad they teamed those two back together. If this eventually leads to them versus the Motor City Machine Guns it has a real good chance of being a 4 star tag match.

LAX continues to work over Bubba as we head to another commercial break. They need to stop playign that song going into the break.

- Daniels has tagged in as we come back and he is brawling with Bubba Ray. At 7 minutes this is longer than Bubba Ray has sold in all his previous TNA matches combined.

Finally D-Von tags in and he begins beating up the other two teams. They hit the headbutt as we have 6 guys battling.

Daniels mounts D-Von in the corner and gets caught from behind which leads to the Doomsday Device. AJ hits a dropkick then the Pele on Homicide. Frog Splash and Best Moonsault Ever gets a 2 count. Hernandez with the Border Toss on Homicide gets a 2 as the ref is pulled out.

Hernandez then hits the dive to the floor knocking everyone down. Brother Ray hits a dive to the floor from the top rope. Back in the ring Daniels hits the hurracanrana and an STO. Goes for Angels Wings but it is blocked and they hit 3D for the win.

-Jeremy Borash is in the back talking about Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar wrestling. Then we hear Lance Hoyt and Christy Hemme making out. Her moaning makes some 12 year old a man.

- Joe congratulates Team 3D then says he pimp slapped Angle last week- who thought that sounded good. He tells Angle he is the puppet master and Kurt is the puppet. He says he is coming after the title and he will make sure Angle stays healthy so he can beat him for it.

-

- Back and they announce Chris Harris vs Christian and James Storm vs Rhyno at Victory Road. They also say next week will bring an announcement about the X Division match at Victory Road- involving Ultimate X.

- Christian is out to complain at Jim Cornette about having to wrestle Chris Harris because he doesn’t feel he is worthy of him. Cornette says Harris will break the glass ceiling using Christian’s head adn he needs to remember Abyss is still looking for him. Christian says his pimp hand is strong- seriously who thinks that is cool- and he doesn’t fear Abyss. The music hits and Christian runs.

- Interview with Rhyno. He says he flipped out because alcohol was a bad part of his family so that’s why he flipped out last week. Great.

- Triple threat women’s match with Ms. Brooks (even with the ridiculously inflated boobs she is good looking) versus Jackie Moore versus Gail Kim (thank god her wrestling is better than her acting).

- Kim and Brooks fight to the floor and Moore comes through with a dropkick. Brooks looks to have hurt her finger. Kim comes off the top with a crossbody (which would be awesome in real life from her) and we go to break.

- Back to Impact as we are getting more of this knockout match-up. They are running a contest where you can win a trip to an upcoming TNA PPV and a date with Christy Hemme- despite the fac tthat you just saw her making out with Lance Hoyt 20 minutes ago. Oh well.

All the women are down. Gail Kim double teams them and headscissors Ms. Brooks to the floor. Moore rolls her up but Gail rolls through and gets the 2 count. Moore and Brooks beat her up afterwards until Eric Young makes the save. He beats up the two women and then Robert Roode comes in and works him over.

- Sting is being interviewed by Borash as they head to the basement. Sting talks about what it takes to be behind the mask as he is talking with Abyss about that. We then find out Abyss will talk next week- great.

- Angle si out for the Kurt Angle Night of Champions. He credits himself for hihger ratings and PPV buyrates.

He mocks Team 3D and says he will give them the honor of wrestling him at the next PPV. That brings them out. They tell him the ratings have been up because of the wrestlers and the fans not just one guy.

They brawl and Team 3D goes for the tables. Joe makes the save and clears the ring of Team 3D. Angle then hits the Olympic Slam and puts Joe through the table.

Decent show but a step down from last week. The main event for Victory Road should be solid as will the X Division Match. I am also intrigued for the Harris-Christian match.

This episode had some really fast moments and had some of the past couple weeks slow moments. They need more slow moments and they’ll be ok show-wise.
