The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, which has done some amazing reporting in the wake of the local tragedy that went national, is carrying an article by Greg Oliver, which can be read here. It covers some personal interactions he had with Benoit, and what his background is in wrestling and wrestling writing. I found it an honest and interesting portrayal.
