Yes the first hour was a complete waste of time, but boy, that second hour.

For dexterity sake I’ll just say they at least tried to put some heat on the McMahons/Umaga vs Lashley match for Sunday. They also tried to move along the Flair/Carlito stuff. The main point of Raw though was that last hour.

Shawn Michaels and John Cena were given almost an hour to tell a story in the ring and it delivered. They did a great job of playing off the Wrestlemania match with the piledriver on the steps spot. They did a fantastic job of bringing the story in again of Cena frustrating Michaels by out-wrestling him. Cena did an excellent job in holding up his end of the match. Ross and Lawler were perfect in their announcing of the match.

Everything about this 56 minutes of television wrestling was perfectly done.

I know it is John’s deal to tell you to “Steal this Match” but as a wrestling fan you owe it to yourself to track this match down.
