Sting is the new #1 Contender for the NWA World Title. Team 3-D finally achieves their goal of being the most decorated tag team in wrestling history. Here are full results of this year’s Lockdown.

On the pre-show VKM with Lance Hoyt in their corner defeated the Serotonin team of Kaz & Havoc with Christy Hemme and fellow Serotonin member Martyr in their corner. After the match Raven attempted to cane Christy Hemme, only to be stopped by Kaz who ended up taking the shots instead.

Lockdown opened with Chris Sabin retaining the X-Division Championship in a five-way elimination over Sharky Boy, Sonjay Dutt, Jay Lethal, and Alex Shelley. It came down to Sabin and Lethal, with Sabin escaping the cage for the victory.

Robert Roode with Ms. Brooks & Eric Young in his corner defeated Petey Williams with the Payoff (fisherman’s suplex).

Gail Kim defeated Jackie Moore with a crossbody block off the top of the cage.

Senshi got the win over Austin Starr with a bridging pin. Bob Backlund was the special referee.

In the crowd killing match of the night, James Storm defeated his ex America’s Most Wanted partner, Chris Harris, in the blindfold match after he took off the blindfold while the ref was down and hit Harris with a superkick.

Christopher Daniels got the win over Jerry Lynn with the Last Rites.

Team 3-D finally achieved their goal of winning the NWA World Tag Team Titles over LAX after Homicide was “electrocuted” on the cage and hit with 3-D. Probably would have been a good match if the electric cage spots hadn’t been such a let down.

Team Angle defeated Team Cage in the Lethal Lockdown when Jarrett nailed Abyss with a guitar full of thumbtacks and let Sting make the pinfall. Sting now gets a World Title shot at Sacrifice on May 13.
