After Brian Streleckis wonderful preview of IWA-MS and it’s Mania weekend event, you didn’t think we were gonna let him off the hook without posting results did you? Find out if Brian’s thoughts factored in to the final “score”.

Here are the results from Midlothian from last night - March 31st

1. Jack Thriller def. Danny Demento
2. Billy Roc def. Devon Moore
3. Jimmy “Hype” Shalwin def. The Old Timer
4. Eddie Kingston def. Joker & Ricky Reyes to qualify for TPI
5. Iron Saints def. Troy Walters & Jason Hades
6. Iron Saints def. Michael Elgin & Ash
7. Dysfunction def. Diehard Dustin, Vortekz & OMG
8. Ian Rotten def. Ricochet
9. Josh Abercrombie def. Brandon Thomaselli to retain Light Hvy. Title
10. CJ Otis def. Drake Younger in a Last Man Standing Match
11. Chuck Taylor def. Low Ki to retain IWA Heavyweight Title

Brian Streleckis EDIT: Thanks to John for posting these (I didn’t think to include them as I didn’t attend the show, but it’s smart to include them for shows I talk about), as well as to the IWA-MS fans for providing these results on their message board.

Eddie Kingston joining the TPI is fine by me and a nice surprise for those attending Saturday’s show. I’ll be talking more about this year’s TPI as it gets closer.

How did Taylor defeat Low Ki? Peroxide to the eyes from champion to challenger, and the dastardly Taylor knocked him out with a ?-soaked rag. As Joey Styles said long ago, “Take that crap back to Smokey Mountain!” Still, I get some guilty pleasure out of this.

A few of these matches are to set up matches for the next Midlothian show happening the afternoon of April 28th (when ROH will be running an evening show in nearby Chicago Ridge). The Iron Saints of Vito & sal Thomaselli are feuding with another talented tag team - the North Star Express of Darin Corbin & Ryan Cruz - for the past few months, and IWA-MS ring announcer Joey Eastman recently aligned with the NSE to take out the formerly heel Iron Saints (now turning face against these newer heels). Eastman was the one responsible for the Iron Saints facing two teams on Saturday. Now the Iron Saints and the North Star Express will be wrestling April 28th in a Double Dog Collar Match. After Brandon Thomaselli apparently attacked him with a leather strap after losing his match, Josh Abercrombie will be putting his Light Heavyweight Title on the line against Thomaselli again on the 28th, this time in an Indian Strap Match. Otis and Younger, who I thought would end their feud on Saturday, look to definitely end their feud on the 28th in more violent fashion: a No Rope Barb Wire Match with barb wire bats and barb wire boards. Toss in Ian Rotten vs. Steve Corino in a match with stipulations to be determined, and this show looks to be much different from the ROH show that day in order to stand out. It may not result in the best of shows, but it’s not that bad of a strategy.
