Dana White told Sherdog.com’s Greg Savage last night at a UFC-run WEC event in Vegas that no deal was at that moment in place to buy PRIDE. That doesn’t mean there won’t be, just that at that second he could technically say there isn’t one. White also had no comment on why Tito Ortiz skipped out on the Nevada State Athletic Commission sanctioned boxing match he was to have earlier that day at the UFC Gym. The word is Ortiz wanted more money once Spike TV made plans to shoot everything for a documentary to air on free TV, combine with the fight going out as an experimental Internet-only PPV.
